AI4AM : Artificial Intelligence for Advanced materials
As evidenced by the 2024 Nobel Laureates in Physics and Chemistry, AI for materials design has become the focus of a lot of attention and we anticipate that our GDR community is currently recurring more and more to AI-type of tools for materials production, characterization and theoretical design, so a LD on these topics was urgent.
The LD will take place as satellite meeting of AI4AM during one afternoon (April 9) and the morning after (April 10), so that the participants of LD are anticipated to be registered to the AI4AM event to also enjoy the content and talks by highly relevant speakers in the field of AI for material design

With this message, we are welcoming all GDR members interested in this topic to contact us, and we are also calling for your suggestions of speakers (preferentially GDR members/students etc), so that we could cover the main ongoing research activities inside GDR as well as in related groups. We plan to have short and longer talks an round table to discuss opportunities in terms of collaboration and joint actions.
